About the app
When can I download Remember Me?
The apps for iPhone and Android are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. We will not link to a store until the app is really there.
Is Remember Me free?
Yes. Unlimited memorials, private sharing, collaboration with all roles and your own translations are free forever. Free memorials hold up to 5 photos. An optional plan, Remember Me Plus, is coming later.
Which languages does the app support?
English, Arabic, Hebrew, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Hindi. You can switch language at any time in your profile, and Arabic and Hebrew use a right-to-left layout.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Memorials you can access open from your device, and changes you make are saved on the device at once, then sync when you are back online.
How do anniversary reminders work?
Choose the events you want to be reminded of, and the app schedules a yearly notification on your device. You can set the reminder time, or turn reminders off, in your profile's notification settings.
Can I use an AI assistant with Remember Me?
Not yet. AI connectors for assistants like Claude and ChatGPT are coming soon.
Invitations
How do I invite family to a memorial?
Open the memorial and choose to invite someone. You can share a private link, send it to an email address, or show a QR code. Only the memorial's owner can send invitations.
Someone sent me an invitation. How do I open it?
Install Remember Me, then tap the invitation link or scan the QR code. Sign in or create an account and accept. If the invitation was sent to your email address, sign in with that same email and you'll also find it on your Home screen.
My invitation link doesn't work.
Invitation links expire (by default after 14 days) and usually work only once. The owner may also have revoked it. Ask the person who invited you to send a new one.
Roles
What can each person do?
- Owner: everything, including inviting people, changing roles, removing members and deleting the memorial.
- Admin: edit the memorial's profile, family circle and all content.
- Contributor: add life story chapters, events and photos, and edit or delete what they added.
- Viewer: see everything, but not change it.
New invitations give view-only access unless the owner chooses another role.
How do I remove someone from a memorial?
The owner can remove any member or change their role from the memorial's sharing screen. Their access ends immediately.
Privacy
Who can see a memorial?
Only the people who have been invited to it. Memorials are never public, and there are no public profiles, followers or feeds.
Do you show ads or sell my data?
No. There are no ads, we don't track you across other apps, and we never sell your data. Read the privacy policy.
Someone added something hurtful or inappropriate.
Use Report a concern in the app, or email support@remember-me.app with the memorial's name and what happened. You can also leave the memorial at any time. See our terms of use.
Deleting
How do I delete my account?
In the app, tap your profile picture on the Home screen to open Profile, then choose Delete account. You can also ask us by email.
What happens to memorials when I delete my account?
Memorials you own are deleted with everything in them. What you added to other people's memorials stays with those memorials. Full details.
